Images to PDF and back again
Photos of receipts, phone-scanned documents, screenshots for a report, a lot of everyday "PDF work" is really about moving content between images and PDF in one direction or the other. Both directions are covered, and both stay on your device.
Turning images into a PDF
- Open Images to PDF and add your JPG or PNG files.
- Reorder them with the ↑ / ↓ buttons, this becomes the page order.
- Pick a page size: "Fit to each image" keeps every page sized to match its photo (best for mixed photo sizes), or choose A4/Letter if you need a standard, printable page size with margins.
- Click "Create PDF" to download the result.
Pulling images back out of a PDF
- Open PDF to Images and add your PDF.
- Choose PNG (lossless, larger files) or JPG (smaller, adjustable quality), and a resolution, 150 DPI is a good default for screens, 300 DPI if you're printing.
- Click "Render Pages," then download individual pages or all of them at once.
A practical tip
If you're scanning multiple pages of the same document with your phone, take the photos first, then use Crop & Rotate to straighten and trim each one before assembling the PDF, it's much easier to fix one photo at a time than to notice a crooked page 8 in a 20-page PDF.
